This weekend we had the 3rd and final round of the BNL championship here in
Belgum at the Genk circuit.
We raced your DD2-chassis, there were 13 drivers.
On Saturday, in the first race Mathias crashed in the first corner in a
racing incident, so that was a DNF.
In the second race he had to start from last but moved up through the field
and won the race, the chassis, and engine :) were fantastic.
On Sunday, it rained all day and Mathias qualified on pole with a 1.3 sec
advantage over Formula-K driver De Ruwe.
Mathias went on to win the first race in the rain.
He finished second in the second race after leading until half way. I think
we made a mistake with the tire pressures for the the 4th race.
With a P13, P1, P1 and P2 we finished the weekend P2 overall which is again
a very good result, so we are all very happy again.
